About empowering the youth and the need to give them more say, CRI trustee Radwan Mujib Siddiq wants to 'walk the talk.'
"What we have to ensure is not just talking but walking the talk. It’s not enough to say that we will give all responsibilities to youths. The time has come to actually give them more responsibility in every sphere. We have to bring committed young people from all spheres such as business, politics, and NGO and we have to support them,” he said.
“Keep working the way you are doing now. We receive a lot of inspiration from you. The world is undergoing a tough time but you are a source of courage for us,” Radwan Mujib said, while addressing youths at the Joy Bangla Youth Award ceremony on Monday.
Young Bangla received 750 entries from the youth-led organizations that brought about positive changes in their communities.
