Walton has exported “Made in Bangladesh” air conditioners to the middle eastern country Yemen and the West African nation Mali.
Walton is now exporting and marketing ACs to the markets of these countries with its own brand name along with exporting its ACs to Asia, Middle East, Africa and European nations as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) emphasizing the expansion of its brand business in the global market, according to a press release.
Walton is moving to the international market with strategic roadmaps to become one of the top global consumer electronics brands and is exporting ACs to different countries along with OEM and own brand name in continuation of this effort, said Walton AC’s Chief Business Officer Md Tanvir Rahman.
Walton has shipped ACs for a local electronics brand in Yemen back in 2019. This was done as an OEM and later sent various shipments of AC, fridge, TV, Washing Machine, gas stove, fan and other products manufactured here according to the demand, design and standard of the Yemeni brand, he said.
Walton is also exporting and selling ACs to Mali with its own brand logo.
Walton AC’s head of sales Muhaiminul Bari said the AC market is expanding across the globe as Walton is manufacturing and marketing environment-friendly international standard energy efficient ACs.
Walton ACs are being manufactured at its international standard production plant at Chandra of Gazipur which is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. Some of the notable technologies and features of Walton ACs include frost clean, air plasma, 3-in-1 converter technology, offline voice control, Bluetooth and smart control, said the release.
Along with one year replacement, Walton is offering up to 10 years warranty on inverter AC compressor and after-sales services from 79 service centres across the country along with more than 400 service partners.
