The body of a woman was found hanging from a tree in her ex-husband’s house at Sajiara village of Sadar upazila in Magura early Friday, police said.
The woman, identified as Lima Khatun, came to her former husband Sakil Ahmed’s house a week ago, according to her family sources.

Police arrested Sakil after recovering her body.
Mustafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the Magura Sadar police station, said police went to the house after they were informed by the neighbours.

Her body was sent to the Magura Sadar Hospital’s morgue for an autopsy.
A case has been filed in this regard.
