Qatar Airways has closed its Dhaka office temporarily over coronavirus outbreak in the country and requested to book flight tickets online.
The Airways announced the closure in a press statement on Wednesday.
Qatar Airways has received approval to operate to and from Bangladesh from June 16, and was operating three flights a week.
There has been a high demand of customers seeking tickets and large number of people visit their office to book tickets without following social distance, the statement said.
The Airways decided to close its office as the safety and security of customers and employees is their top priority.
Customers are requested to book tickets online through email.
