BNP has decided to extend its 15-day programme by an additional 2 days until October 5.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the decision of the party’s standing committee at a press conference at BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier, BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan announced the 15-day programme from September 19 to October 3 at a press conference at BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office on Monday as part of its one-point movement to topple the government.

The additional programmes include rallies in districts and metropolitan cities across the country demanding the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her better treatment on September 24.
Meanwhile, the party has announced a road march in Faridpur division on October 3 which will be led by BNP Standing Committee Members Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Selima Rahman.
Meanwhile, the Cumilla-Feni-Mirsarai-Chattogram road march -- originally scheduled for October 3 -- will be held on October 5.
