The BNP is preparing for the upcoming parliamentary elections in secret, according to Prime Minister's Private Industries and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman.
He said this while addressing a meeting at Gani Sikder School ground in Bilaspur of Dohar upazila of his constituency Dhaka-1 on Saturday afternoon, according to a press release.

"The present government has made the country digital under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP is taking advantage of that digital Bangladesh to spread propaganda at home and abroad on social media. Everyone has to be aware of this,” said Salman.

"There is no use in holding dharnas with foreigners, foreigners want to see free and fair elections in Bangladesh, which the government is also committed to implement, therefore, the next parliamentary elections will be held through the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as per the constitution,” he said.

“BNP leaders and activists have engaged in propaganda fearing separation from the people,” he added.
