Agriculture Minister Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque on Friday said that except participating in the election, BNP has no other option to bring down the Awami League government, no matter how much protests and terrors they carry out.
“BNP does not have the strength to oust Awami League by movement. No matter how much movements and terrors they do…BNP will have to participate in the election to oust the Awami League, there is no other choice,” he said.

The minister said this while exchanging views with media personnel after planting palm (tal) trees at Sohagpur area of Mirzapur upazila under Tangail district this afternoon.
“I firmly believe that Awami League earns the trust of the country's people by running the country continuously for the last 15 years,” he added.

Calling all to come forward in planting more palm (tal) trees to save their lives from lightning, the minister said, “We have observed that the number of lightning and deaths from it has increased a lot recently. Everyone should come forward in planting palm (tal) trees.”
Environment has to be protected and kept clean to maintain sustainable and dynamic development, he added.

The organization ‘Sabuz Prithibi’ has taken this program to plant palm (tal) trees along the highway from Sohagpur to Tangail city. Local MP Khan Ahmed Shuvo, Mirzapur Upazila Awami League President Mir Sharif, General Secretary and local leaders and activists were present on the occasion.
