Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football champions Bashundhara Kings failed to get their Indian visas till Sunday afternoon to play their AFC Cup away match with Kolkata Mohunbagan Club on Tuesday (Oct 24).
As per AFC rules, Bashundhara Kings was supposed to reach the match venue on Sunday, two days ahead of the match, and the Kings accordingly arranged the air tickets and hotel booking for the team.
But all of their plans went to waste after not getting their Indian visas on time, making their participation in the AFC Cup match in India uncertain.

The Kings, in a letter to AFC competition committee on Saturday (Oct 21) , informed the details of their suffering regarding Indian visa.
The Media Manager of the Bashundhara Kings Ahmed Sheikh informed that their team (Kings) did not get Indian visa till 5 pm on Sunday.
Later, All Indian Football Federation assured them of getting visas by tonight (Sunday night).
It will be very difficult for them to manage air tickets for all in the same flight on Monday in case of getting the visa Sunday night.

Earlier, Bashundhara Kings lost to Maziya SRC of Maldives by 1-3 goals in Male on September 19 and beat Odisha FC of India by 3-2 goals in Dhaka on October 2 in ongoing AFC Cup matches.
