Dhaka, Sep 6 (UNB) – A six-member Bangladesh National Archery team will leave here for Philippines on Sunday (September 8) to compete in the Stage-3 competition of the Asia Cup-World Ranking Archery Tournament 2019.
The 8-day-long competition is scheduled to be held at the Clark City in Philippines on September 8-15.
Bangladesh archers will compete in the men’s Recurve singles, men’s Recurve team, Recurve mixed team and women’s Recurve singles events.
Earlier, Bangladesh Archery Federation (BAF) announced the six-member team comprising four archers, all will participate in Recurve events and two officials on August 30 for the meet.
Members of Bangladesh team: Ruman Shana, Tamimul Islam, Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Beauty Roy (Archers), Anisur Rahman Dipu (Manager) and Martin Fredrick (Coach).
