Dhaka, April 7 (UNB) – Bangladeshi CM Manon Reja Neer was sharing the 3rd slot in the Open Under-10 age group of the Asian Youth Chess Championships with four other players securing 4.5 points after the 6th round matches held in Kaluthara, Sri Lanka on Saturday.
Warsia Khusbu earned 4 points in Girls Under-8 age group.
Nayem Haque (Open Under-18 age group) and Sadnan Hasan Dihan (Open Under-16 age group) earned 3 points each, M Safwan (Open Under-12 age group), Jannatul Ferdousi (Girls Under-12 age group) and Sakline Mostafa Sajid (Open Under-8 age group) earned 2.5 points each after the 6th round matches.
In the 6th round matches on Saturday, CM Neer beat Erhes Temuulen of Mongolia, Khusbu drew with Soleymani Diba of Iran, Dihan drew with Pallie Tuan Ehshan of Sri Lanka, Nayem drew with Nguyen Tien Anh of Vietnam, Sajid beat Nawarathna of Sri Lanka, Jannatul Ramanayake Nemindi Linaya of Sri Lanka and Safwan lost to Dineth SA Induwara of Sri Lanka.
