Bangladesh lost the toss and were sent to bat against India in their final match of this year’s Asia Cup.
Both teams made significant changes to their playing XIs.

Bangladesh brought back Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Mahedi Hasan, and Anamul Haque Bijoy; the latter played his last ODI in December last year.
Mohammad Naim was rested along with Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud. Mushfiqur Rahim is also absent from this match, as the wicketkeeper-batsman is currently in Bangladesh with his wife, who recently gave birth to a baby girl.
Tanzid Hasan Sakib has been included in the team, earning his first international cap in the match.
India also made five changes to their playing XI.

Bangladesh has already been ruled out of contention for the final of this Asia Cup. They won only one match in the group phase, but they have lost all of their Super Four matches thus far.
In contrast, India has secured a spot in the final, where they will face Sri Lanka.
