Veteran allrounder Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury hit a century for Walton Central on Monday in the ongoing Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Before Shuvagata, Soumya Sarkar also scored a ton in the same innings. Riding on their superb batting efforts, Central Zone scored 481 in their first innings against BCB South Zone.
In reply, South Zone posted 91 for one at the end of day two with Pinak Ghosh remaining not out for 67.

In the other match, Islami Bank East Zone are trailing by 127 runs against BCB North Zone. At the end of day 2, East Zone were batting for 17 for none in their second innings.
Earlier, in the first innings of the match, Islami Bank posted 166 for all wickets. In reply, Noth Zone scored 310 all wickets riding on 91 off Tanzid Hasan Tamim. In this innings, Ifran Hossain of East Zone bagged five wickets.
