In the tournament, four nations including hosts Bangladesh, two nations from Asian and South Asian and a European nation will attend the tournament.
The competition is known as UEFA Assist Programme.
UEFA has been running the competition under their support programme since 2017 with an aim to provide practical assistance to confederations and their member associations to develop and strengthen football across the world.
In the Asian region, Asian Football Confederation (AFC) monitors the programme on behalf of UEFA.
AFC selects the hosts of the tournament every year.
BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Shohag said that the AFC selected Bangladesh as the host of the tournament this year.
"We applied for hosting the tournament and AFC selected us," he said.
Earlier, Thailand hosted the tournament in 2018 where Bangladesh attended the game with Cyprus, Sri Lanka and the hosts Thailand.
