Dhaka, Jan 16 (UNB) - Salman F Rahman, vice-chairman of Beximco Group, has been made Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's adviser on private industry and investment.
Hasina appointed Salman her adviser using her power bestowed through Rule 3B (1) of the Rules of Business-1996, said a gazette notification published by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday.
Salman, who was elected MP from Dhaka-1 in the December 30 election, will enjoy the honorary status of a minister, said the notification.
