A case was filed on Wednesday against suspended inspector Liaqat Ali of Baharchhara Police outpost, also an accused in Major(Retd) Sinha murder case, and six others on charge of extorting money from a businessman by threatening to kill him in crossfire.

Another  policeman died from coronavirus while performing duties in Chattogram.
