Maritime ports asked to hoist local cautionary signal No 3
Maritime ports of Bangladesh have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No 3 as the well-marked low which formed over Northwest Bay of Odisha-West Bengal Coast lies over Northwest Bay of Odisha coast and adjoining area.
It is likely to intensify further, said a special bulletin of the Met office.

Under its influence, squally weather may affect the Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
