An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Rangpur Detective Branch (DB) police, accused of being involved in the gang rape of a schoolgirl, was suspended on Monday.

Police on Tuesday arrested three people for their alleged involvement in the ‘rape’ of a schoolgirl at the residence of a municipality councilor in Godagari upazila on Monday.
