As there is good potential for development of hydrogen fuel, Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (Sreda) and Bangladesh Council of Science and Industrial Research (BCSIR) have said they will work on the issue through a joint collaboration. 

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called for massive investment in cheaper and profitable renewable energy, saying that it is not only the “right thing to do” but also the “best economic thing to do”.
