Bangladesh registered 14 more Covid cases in the 24 hours till Monday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total caseload rose to 2,037,156, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,440 as no new fatalities were reported.
The daily case test positivity fell to 0.84 per cent from Sunday's 1.07 per cent as 1,667 samples were tested during the period.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while recovery rate slightly decreased to 97.58 percent, it added.
In November, the country reported 10 Covid-linked deaths and 1,345 cases.

Bangladesh reported 17 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total caseload rose to 2,036,928, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,437 as no new fatalities were reported.
The daily case test positivity dropped to 0.65 percent from Saturday’s 0.83 percent percent as 2,612 samples were tested during the period.

With the new numbers, the caseload rose to 2,036,488, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,431 as no death was reported during this period.
The daily case test positivity dropped to 0.58 per cent from Thursday's 0.65 per cent as 3,258 samples were tested during the period.

Global Covid cases surge past 614 million
The overall number of global Covid cases has now crossed 614 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 614,225,824 while the death toll reached 6,517,920 on Tuesday morning.
The US has recorded 97,164,732 cases so far and 1,076,053 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.
India's daily Covid-19 caseload Sunday decreased to 2,114, officials said.

According to federal health ministry data released on Monday morning, 2,114 new cases of Covid were reported during the past 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,502,694 in the country.
The country also logged 15 related deaths in 24 hours, pushing the overall toll to 528,165 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.

Global Covid cases surge past 608 million
The overall number of global Covid cases has surged past 608 million amid a rise in new infections in parts of the world.
According to the latest global data, the total case count mounted to 608,700,634 while the death toll reached 6,498,459 on Friday morning.
The US has recorded 96,465,126 cases so far and 1,072,125 people have died from the virus in the country, both highest counts around the world.
India's federal health ministry reported 3,928 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours on Thursday morning, taking the total tally to 44,440,267 in the country.

With the reporting of the fresh cases, India's active caseload currently stands at 66,676.
The country logged 37 more related deaths, pushing the overall toll to 527,911 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.
