Minimum Fitra fixed at Tk 115 per person
This year (2023), the minimum Fitra has been fixed at Tk 115 per person while the maximum is Tk 2,640.
Fitra is an obligatory charity distributed to the poor at the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Fitra Fixing Committee held on Sunday (April 02, 2023), chaired by the committee's head and Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s Khatib Hafez Maulana Mufti Mohammad Ruhul Amin.
The rate of Fitra is fixed on the basis of market prices of flour, dates, cheese, raisins and some other essentials.
Fitra is paid to the poor before the jamaat (congregation) of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Minimum Fitra fixed at Tk 75 per person
This year, the minimum level of Fitra has been raised to Tk 75 per person, a hike of Tk 5 over last year. The maximum rate, however, stays unchanged at Tk 2,310.

The decision to hike the rate was taken at a meeting of the National Fitra Fixing Committee held on Saturday, chaired by the committee's head and Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s Khatib Hafez Maulana Mufti Mohammad Ruhul Amin.

The minimum Fitra for this year has been fixed at Tk 70 per person while the maximum at Tk 2,310.
The decision was taken at a virtual meeting of the National Fitra Fixing Committee held on Wednesday (April 21, 2021) with its chairman and Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s senior pesh imam Hafez Maulana Mizanur Rahman in the chair.
