Some incidents in other countries like the US and the UK have inspired Bangladesh to take such measure. Amid these incidents, about 23 were cases of droning missing collisions with aircraft in the UK. Some reports were even more concerning. For instance, in some of these 23 cases, the aircraft fallen under risk of collisions were passenger-carrier Boeings.

What to Consider Before Buying a Drone in Bangladesh?
CAAB has explicitly narrated all the requirements to be met by a drone owner before flying it in its circulated provisions. Like he must acquire a permit and show the demonstration of his qualification as required. In addition to these, some rules should also be realized and abode by.

Area Limit:
CAAB provisions have limited the area a drone can fly within, rendering a three-dimensional outlay. Like a pilot cannot levitate a drone to an altitude higher than 61 meters. This altitude can be lower during cloudy and dark weather. Any attempt to fly a drone in at least 9.26 km range around an airport, or other private runways or helipads or urban areas is prohibited. A drone must keep at least 300 meters distance from a public gathering or personal property. Any breach of public security or privacy is a punishable act.
Registration:
Before maneuvering drones, people must get approval from CAAB. They have to apply for permission at least 45 days before the maneuver. The application will require a pilot to provide some basic information like:

- - His intention: Why does he want to fly the drone? What is his purpose behind it? Is it for making commercial videos, training, or conducting research?
- - The date and time: When the maneuver will take place.
- - The location coordinate: Where the maneuver will take place.

- - Insurance information: Documents narrating the insurance coverage.

Insurance:
After buying a drone in Bangladesh, a pilot must get insurance for his drone before flying it. This insurance covers the expenses the pilot has to carry for any drone incidents. Like, an amateur pilot operating a drone for the first time might wrongly orient it to other people's properties and cause some damages to them. Apart from the ransom the pilot is liable to pay to those people, he also has to spend money for repairing his copter. Drone insurance covers both expenses. Insurance can vary in respect of payable fees depending on some criteria. Knowing them will ease the process of obtaining insurance for you.
- - Intended Application: Whether you want to fly a drone for commercial use or private purpose will apply different tariffs.
