A passenger train derailed at a rail crossing in Purbadhala on the Zaria-Mymensingh route on Tuesday morning, snapping train communication.

The rail communication between Mymensingh and Jamalpur resumed after six hours of suspension following derailment of a local train at East Fulbaria in the district town on early Thursday.
