As part of the international campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence," the United States Agency for International Development Agency (USAID) organised a workshop for the Women Journalists Network of Bangladesh Sunday. The participants talked about the role of journalists in producing constructive reporting and carrying out fact-checking. The programme "Women Thrive in Journalism," featured guest presenters, including Roving Asia Editor of the Global Investigative Journalism Network Miraj Ahmed Chowdhury, and engaged women journalists on an array of topics.
