President Abdul Hamid on Tuesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of noted Islamic scholar Shaikhul Hadith Allama Ashraf Ali, principal of Al-Haiatul Ulya Lil-Jamiatil Qawmi Madrasa.   In a condolence message, the President said the nation will always remember him with due respect for his contributions to promoting and spreading Islam and religious education throughout the country.
