48-hr heat alert issued for Dhaka’s western part, 3 divisions


The prevailing heat wave over the western part of Dhaka division, Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions  may continue  for the next 48 hours, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

BMD issued the heat wave alert at 6 pm on Friday.

Due to the increase of moisture incursion, the discomfort may continue.
