An allegation of raping a 6-year-old child and attempting to rape another child of the same age has been brought against the neighbor in Kahalu, Bogura.
The accused name is Nur Islam (40).
Victim’s mother filed a case against Nur Islam on Friday (March 14) at Kahalu Police Station under the Prevention of Women and Children Repression Act, accusing him of raping her daughter. The accused has been on the run since the incident.

According to the case statement, Nur Islam lured two children into a bedroom, raped one child, and attempted to rape the other. He threatened to kill them if they told anyone. The incident came to light when one of the children fell ill, prompting the family to file a case at the police station.
Abdul Hannan, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kahalu Police Station, said, "A case has been filed against Nur Islam for the rape and abuse of two children. The victims have been taken to the Victim Support Center at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogura for health test. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the accused."
