Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday said her government has taken the policy of siding with the countries which will help Bangladesh in promoting its development regardless of their involvement in any war.
“I don't need to see who is engaged in war with whom. Development of my own country is my first priority. I will go with them who will help me in developing my country. We are advancing that way,” she said.
The prime minister said this while distributing prizes among the winners of a nationwide video competition titled ‘Bangabandhu in my eyes’ held at her official residence Ganabhaban.

She said that Bangladesh wants peace and friendship with all.
“We want peace, we do not want war, we want friendship with all, and keeping that friendship I am advancing,” she said.
Earlier, the prime minister distributed certificates, crests and award money among the winners.
