BRAC Executive Director Asif Saleh has been invited to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Reimagining Aid for the 2025–2026 term.
The council is part of the Forum’s Global Future Councils network, which is expected to bring together over 700 experts from different fields around the world and act as think tanks, where leaders from government, business, academia, civil society and international organisations discuss ideas to solve global challenges.
As a council member, Saleh will work with other experts to rethink how aid is planned, delivered and used in today’s changing world.
The council will focus on creating fair, inclusive and effective ways to support communities and improve international development efforts.
“It is an honour to join the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Reimagining Aid. BRAC’s work over more than 50 years has shown the power of community-led solutions. I hope to share our experiences and learn from other leaders to make aid more fair, strong, and useful for people on the ground,” Saleh said.
