A young doctor of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) succumbed to his road accident injuries on Monday at Dhaka Square Hospital.
Deceased Md Wahidur Rahman,36, was a junior consultant (medicine) of CMCH who sustained injuries from a motorcycle accident on August 19 at Agrabad area in Chattogram.
On August 20, he was transferred to Asgar Ali Hospital through air ambulance as his condition turned critical.

Later he was sent to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery and from there to Square Hospital as his condition worsened.
Dr Wahidur was a former student of MBBS second batch at BGC Trust Medical College.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Medical Association Chattogram Dr Faisal Iqbal Chowdhury expressed grief at his death and sent condolence to his family.
