It has already set a short, mid-term, and long-term strategy to ensure social security and economic revival. And the implementation of these packages is ongoing, said the Finance Ministry in a statement on Monday.
The Finance Division will hold three view-exchange meetings to discuss the results and different sides of stimulus packages.
With the theme "Sustaining employment and bringing the overall demand and supply sides of the economy back to life," the first meeting will be held on November 26 with Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi as the chief guest.
The second meeting will be held on December 3 with the theme "Employment generation and revival of the rural economy." Planning Minister MA Mannan will be the chief.
With the title "Expanding the coverage of social safety nets and ensuring food security," the last meeting will be held on December 10 where Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque will be the chief guest.
