The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of its former president, ATM Waziullah.
In a statement, DCCI President Taskeen Ahmed and the board of directors extended their heartfelt condolences to his family and offered prayers for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
ATM Waziullah (87) who passed away on Wednesday at the United Hospital in Dhaka due to age-related complications, had served as the President of DCCI in 1993.

He left behind his son, two daughters, and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janazah will take place on Friday (February 14) at the Uttara Sector-4 Jame Mosque following the Asr prayer, after which he will be laid to rest at the Banani graveyard, according to a press release.

A renowned entrepreneur, ATM Waziullah was also the Chairman of Kobeda Group of Companies, which has been involved in manufacturing and indenting for many years.
He had previously served as the President of the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) from 2010 to 2012.
