The Traffic Department of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,906 cases for traffic rules violation during a special drive conducted across the capital.
During the drive 181 vehicles were dumped and 63 others were towed, said Assistant Commissioner (media) of DMP Jahangir Kabir on Wednesday.
The operation is part of the DMP's continued efforts to enforce traffic discipline and reduce congestion in the city.
