Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh on Tuesday said an anti-mosquito drive will be conducted in the DSCC area from June 15 to control the spread of Aedes mosquitoes.
The drive will be conducted in ten areas under DSCC, he said while speaking at a meeting at the Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday.
“We have made a plea to the authorities concerned seeking ten executive magistrates to conduct the drives and we hope we’ll get them soon. Apart from it, the combing operation will continue,” he said.
