The Italian Embassy in Dhaka has said the processing of current 2025 family files, whenever possible within the stipulated timeframes, is a priority for the Visa Office in accordance with applicable laws.
In response to the query of some applicants, the Embassy of Italy said its Visa Office is working continuously to process family reunion visa applications.

At the same time, the Embassy said, it is working to clear the 2024 backlog by implementing chronological and thematic priority criteria, including the processing of demonstrable urgent cases, such as those involving minors or humanitarian situations.
Some applications are also processed with priority because of judicial decisions and legal considerations.
