A plastic factory in the city’s Hazaribagh area caught fire on Monday night.
The blaze erupted at the factory around 11:20pm, said Md Babul Mia, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
On information, two firefighting units rushed in and doused the blaze around 12:35am on Tuesday, he said.
The reason behind the fire could not be known yet, the official said.
