Police were given 3,000 pieces of PPEs, 50,000 disposable medical masks and 2,000 K N95 masks while the Army and RAB got 50,000 disposable medical masks each.
Grameen organisations have come forward with various programmes to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in Bangladesh since the start of the crisis, said a release on Wednesday.
It is imperative to secure the protection of police, Army and RAB members, who have been working tirelessly to ensure the safety of life and property of the people, said the media release

They have been discouraging people from leaving their homes unnecessarily, raising health awareness and distributing relief among the needy. They have also been burying the coronavirus patients as they continue to carry out their responsibilities.
Separately, Grameen Telecom has made efforts over the last weeks to protect frontline medical care providers and organisations that are working tirelessly to cope with the Corona pandemic.

Hundreds of policemen, members of law enforcement and healthcare providers working on the frontline have been infected by coronavirus.
