The acting High Commissioner said the year 2020 marks a very important year for Malaysia, as the government has designated it as ‘Visit Malaysia Year’, aiming to increase tourist arrivals to 30 million.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali said the bilateral relations between the two states will get stronger in the days to come.
“The people of our two countries will explore each other’s culture, food and various tourist attractions through mutual travel. Tourism will take our bilateral relations in a unique height,” he said.
The State Minister wished every success of “Visit Malaysia 2020” programme.
He also invited citizens of Malaysia to visit Bangladesh to explore natural beauty, glorious history, heritage, rich culture and diverse and tasty food.
