SM Moin Uddin Ahmed, an additional secretary, has been made the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA).
BPPA issued a notice in this regard on June 29.
SM Moin worked as Additional Secretary to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Joint Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, General Manager, Bangladesh Forest Industries Development Corporation, Deputy Secretary to the Technical and Madrasa Education Division, Ministry of Education and Secretary to the Land Appeal Board, said a press release issued on Tuesday.
He worked on line as Program Executive and Coordinator for the Strengthening Public Financial Management Program to Enable Service Delivery (SPFMS) of the Finance Division for two years.
He was deputed as Additional Program Director (Deputy Secretary) to the Public Expenditure Management Strengthening Program (PEMSP) of the Finance Division under the Ministry of Finance from 4th June 2017 to 13th October 2019.
SM Moin worked in the Finance Division as Senior Assistant Secretary from November 2007 to October 2012.
Starting his career in the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) in 1993, Moin Uddin has served in various capacities in the field administration of Bangladesh, including Assistant Commissioner, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Metropolitan Magistrate (Dhaka).
