The government has appointed Monir Haider as the Special Assistant (Consensus Building) to the Chief Adviser with the rank of Senior Secretary.
Monir’s appointment, made on a contractual basis, will be effective for a period of six months from the date of his joining, according to a Ministry of Public Administration notification of Thursday.
Monir Haider must relinquish any professional engagements, businesses, or employment with government, semi-government, or private organisations before assuming his new role, said the notification.
