Angry protesters vandalised six establishments in Narail, including the mural of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and memorial plaques commemorating the 1952-71 movements.
The acts of vandalism took place between Thursday afternoon and evening, with bulldozers being used to destroy the structures.

The establishments included the memorial plaques of 1952-71 and Bangabandhu’s mural in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office, the mural of Bangabandhu inside the Zilla Parishad, the mural of Bangabandhu in front of the district Awami League office, the mural of Bangabandhu inside the Sadar Upazila office, the mural of Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina at the gate of Narail Municipality, and the memorial plaques of 1952-71 in front of Narail Government Boys' School.
Md. Sajedul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station, stated that he was not aware of the incident.
