Over 40 companies participate in BAU Job Fair


The National Career Carnival, organized by the Bangladesh Agricultural University Career Club (BAUCC), concluded with a job fair on its second and final day.

This year, the job fair saw the participation of over 40 companies.

The fair took place at the gymnasium of Bangladesh Agricultural University from 9:30am to 5:00pm on Saturday.

Graduates from 10 universities had the opportunity to submit their resumes directly and online to each participating company.

The companies participating in the fair included the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, ACI, PRAN, Square, C.P. Bangladesh, Nabil Group, Paragon Group, BRAC, Danish, Aftab, Nahar Agro, Syngenta, Provita Group, Kazi Farms, and many other local and multinational firms.

A tour of the various stalls revealed that each participating company was related to agriculture. Some companies preferred graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture, others from the Faculty of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, and yet others from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology. Some positions in sales management, business management, and accounts management were open for resume submissions to all graduates.

At the end of the fair, BAUCC presented crests to the participating companies.
