An HSC examinee died after being struck by lightning in Indurkani upazila of the district on Wednesday.
The deceased Sorna Golder, 20, was a student of Indurkani College. She is the daughter of Subash Golder of village Rekhakhali under Pottashi union of the upazila.

Md Habibur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Indurkani Police Station, said the college student went to a field beside their house to bring back cattle when she was struck by lightning.
