Magura, July 12 (UNB) – A mobile court here on Wednesday sentenced two drug traders to six months imprisonment each for selling drugs in Magura Bus Terminal area.
The convicts were identified as Humayun Ahmed, 22, of Barunatoil village and Raju Molla, 23 of Parnanduili village.
Tipped off, a team of Narcotics Control Department arrested Humayun and Raju for selling drugs openly at the bus terminal and recovered 20 kgs of hemp from their possession.
Later, they were produced before a mobile court led by Abu Sufiyan, Sadar upazila executive magistrate and UNO who sentenced them to six months jail.
