“We must uphold the unity we demonstrated through our movement, which led to the fall of dictatorship. Today, there are conspiracies against the country, and we must stay united to counter them,” said the adviser during a flood relief distribution event on Friday (September 20) at the Begumganj Upazila Administration premises.
Speaking to the flood-affected victims, the adviser emphasized the need for national solidarity in rebuilding Bangladesh after periods of upheaval. “We are in the process of reconstructing Bangladesh after an uprising. Our core strength lies in our unity. We are striving to build a country where no one can ever become a dictator again. We are working towards a just Bangladesh, and there are many conspiracies aiming to break that unity. We must all remain vigilant,” he added.
Addressing the students, the adviser urged them to take a responsible stance in curbing mob justice incidents across the country. “We are witnessing instances of mob justice nationwide. Students must take responsibility and ensure that we do not take the law into our own hands. Let the administration do its job,” he stated.
The adviser also mentioned that long-term rehabilitation efforts will be implemented to mitigate health risks following the flood.
Later, he distributed food aid to flood victims at Nawabganj Government Primary School in Mautubi village of Sonaimuri Upazila. Additionally, he met with officials at the Sonaimuri Upazila Parishad for further discussions.
