A vibrant wellness event titled ‘Yoga Beats’ will be held on June 20 (Friday) on the occasion of International Yoga Day, at Gulshan Society Lake Park in the capital.
The gathering, organised by Dhaka Flow in collaboration with Beware of Falling Avocados, is scheduled from 9am to 12pm and is open to all, free of charge.
The event aims to promote physical and mental well-being through a blend of yoga, music and community engagement.
It will feature five distinct yoga sessions conducted by some of Dhaka’s leading instructors.

Each session will be accompanied by live DJ music from BOFA (Beware of Falling Avocados), creating a lively and harmonious environment for participants of all ages.
Twenty-five members of the Bangladesh Women’s Football Team will join as Wellness Ambassadors, symbolising strength, balance and the power of collective empowerment.
Their participation is expected to inspire attendees to embrace wellness and community spirit.
Participants will also enjoy complimentary freshly brewed coffee and snacks provided by East Bengal Coffee Roasters, adding to the relaxed, open-air atmosphere of the event.
Organisers say the event offers an opportunity for Dhaka residents to pause, connect and reset — physically, emotionally and spiritually.
With a focus on movement, mindfulness and togetherness, ‘Yoga Beats’ is being promoted as more than just a yoga event — but a celebration of self-care and community well-being.
