He made the remarks after receiving a special report on various types of allegations of corruption, progress in case investigations and the overall situation, including arrest of accused in cases.
The commission filed total 23 cases in last three months on various charges, said the report. An investigation officer has also been appointed in each case.
The report further said that allegations of embezzling money in the name of buying supplies for various hospitals including purchase of substandard masks, PPE and other equipments for the treatment of Covid-19 through various irregularities and corruption by the concerned officials of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare are being investigated.
Meanwhile, the ACC chairman told the concerned officials that the ACC has to fulfill its legal responsibilities in a very unfavorable environment.
Mentioning that two officials of the commission died of corona, the ACC chairman expressed grief and sorrow over their deaths and wished a speedy recovery to those who are infected and undergoing treatment.
He also directed the officials to conduct official activities in accordance with the health rules.
"We have already warned those who had involvement in relief scam. Even then some greedy people could not be resisted. Cases have filed against them. Many have been arrested. The reality is that they have to face the law,” ACC chairman said.
Iqbal Mahmud said the relief scam cases are very important. So the cases have to be thoroughly investigated.
Real culprits should not be spared at any cost, he added.
