Ten Pran-RFL Group companies have received the "National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award."
The companies got the award under the large, medium and small industry categories for 2019.

Earlier, the industries ministry nominated 31 organisations for the award.
Banga Building Materials, RFL Electronics and Rangpur Metal Industries received three awards under the steel and engineering sector.

Natore Agro won the second prize in the food industry sector while RFL Plastics and Durable Plastic got the first and second prizes under the plastic sector.
Get Well, Banga Plastic International and Packmat Industries received the first prize in the steel and engineering, plastic and "other" sectors categories.
Also, Rangpur Foundry received second prize in the small industry category.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun handed over the awards at a programme held at a city hotel on Monday.
Pran Group Managing Director Eleash Mridha received the award on behalf of Natore Agro and Packmat Industries Executive Director Mohammad Moniruzzaman received the award for his company.

Also, Dilip Kumar Sutradhar, managing director of Banga Building Materials, Nur Alam, chief operating officer of RFL Electronics, Mohammad Moniruzzaman, director of Rangpur Metal Industries, Jahangir Alam, executive director of RFL Plastics, collected the awards.
Toukirul Islam, executive director of Durable Plastic, Sayed Hossain Chowdhury, chief operating officer of Getwell, Mohammad Kazi Abdul Qiyum, managing director of Banga Plastic International, and Afzalur Rahman, chief operating officer of Rangpur Foundry, received the awards.
