Sources said Walton has released 18 models of latest technology ACs ahead of New Year and DITF which include 14 models of 1 to 2-ton split type ACs and 4, 5-ton ceiling and cassette type ACs. Walton split type ACs are available in the market from tk 35,500 to tk 78,000. Besides, 5-ton ACs are available from 1 lakh 41 thousand to 1 lakh 59 thousand BDT.
Walton also released 1.5 and 2-ton huge power-saving inverter technology ACs of Venturi and Riverine series. These smart ACs can be managed by 'Voice Control' or 'Amazon Echo'. Users can increase, reduce, turn on or off the air-conditioner with voice command without using a remote controller.
4 and 5-ton cassettes and ceiling type Walton ACs received wide response among customers at DITF for their aesthetic designs and cooling performance. Various new and upcoming models of VRF or Industrial ACs are being displayed at DITF.
VRF technology is called the best modern air-conditioning system. This technology has the power of controlling the temperature of entire building at the same time.
The indoor air conditioning units of a structure are controlled through a central control system. Walton VRF ACs feature low-power cooling and dual sensing systems for which cold and hot air can be found as per the user’s requirement. The technology can conveniently be placed anywhere in the room.
Shafiqul Alam, Manager of Walton Pavilion, said mini, single and multi-modular VRF ACs are being manufactured at our own factory in Chandra of Gazipur. Walton is manufacturing 5 to 15-ton Mini VRF ACs for small structures while 17 to 32-ton single modular ACs for medium size structures and multi-modular ACs for larger structures.

In this technology, the speed of the compressor is controlled according to the temperature of the room through special programming of microprocessor installed on the PCB or motherboard of the compressor. World’s recognised environmental-friendly HFC free R410A refrigerant is used on Walton ACs.
