Miscreants blasted several crude bombs in phases near Makhati Gurucharan High School polling centre in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj on Thursday, triggering panic among voters.
Five people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The arrestees are Rahmat Majhi, 42, Parvez Majhi, 27, Md Kamal, 37, Arshad Majhi and Salim Majhi.
The first explosion occurred around 10:15am, prompting law enforcers to heighten security in the area.

Two more explosions took place around noon, further alarming voters and locals.
Army personnel stationed nearby rushed to the spot and after chasing the suspects and arrested five people from the area.
Presiding Officer Md Titumir said voting at the centre resumed around 10:15am and continued afterwards.
The explosions caused panic, and the main gate of the polling centre was closed for seven to eight minutes. It was reopened after additional law enforcers arrived.
Police later recovered an unexploded crude bomb from the scene.
Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Syeda Nurmahal Ashrafi and Superintendent of Police Md Menhajul Alam visited the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Momin Ali said security at the centre has been strengthened.
