Azmeri Haque Badhon is a popular actress on the TV screen in Bangladesh. The actress came into the limelight as a runner-up in the Lux Channel I Superstar competition in 2006. Since then, she has worked in numerous television dramas as well as two movies. Recently she played the title role in the film 'Rehana Maryam Noor' and was praised at the Cannes Film Festival 2021. Badhon's Early Life, Family, and Education

Badhon was born on October 28, 1983, in Bikrampur Munshiganj. However, she grew up in different parts of Bangladesh as her father was a government job holder, and he used to move to different locations due to transfer. Therefore, Badhon has studied in multiple schools in her childhood. However, during childhood she lived in Rajbari for three years. Other than that, she stayed in Dhaka most of the time after she became Lux Channel I Superstar.

Later she studied in Bangladesh Medical College and completed BDS, and became a dentist in 2009. However, Badhon was more focused on the media and television industry.

Badhon married businessman Mashroor Siddiqui Sonnet in January 2010. The couple's daughter Saira was born on September 8, 2010. However, Bandhan and Sonnet divorced on November 26, 2014.

How Badhon Stepped into the Media? A Glimpse of Her Career.

Azmeri Haque Badhon won the 2nd runner-up title in the Lux Channel I Superstar competition in 2006. In the same year, she started her media career and never had to look back.

For several years Badhon was actively present in the media industry and made herself busy with her work. She then became very popular by acting in advertisements and TV dramas. Besides acting, she worked as a presenter and was seen in several commercials.

Badhon worked in many dramas. She started her acting career working with Humayun Ahmed. Among her dramas, 'Bua Bilash,' and 'Shuvo Bibaho' are notable. Furthermore, she also worked for several mega series such as 'Chand Ful Amabossha,' 'Busy For Nothing,' 'Aircom,' 'Chaita Pagol,' 'Rong,' and more.

However, during that time, she was not a much-interested film industry. Hence, she was seen in only one movie, 'Nijum Aranne,' in 2010.

The actress was absent from the media for several years after her marriage in 2010. Badhan returned to the industry in 2014 but started working full time in 2016. She worked in 'Tirondaz,' 'Dibi,' 'Megher Pore Megh,' 'Shohojatri,' 'Ei Kule Ami ar Oi Kule Tumi,' 'Nil Nirbashon' and 'Rup Kothar Ma' in 2016. In the same year, Badhon also worked in television commercials for RFL Furniture and Cocola Noodles. It was a massive return for Badhon. She also worked in several dramas in 2017. 

Apart from her acting career, Badhon was also a business person. She loves doing makeovers for herself as well as for others. In fact, she used to do makeovers with the other competitors in the Channel I Superstar contest. Using those experiences and passion, she opened a make-over salon in Gulshan-2 with her friend Suraiya Iqbal in 2014. However, they opened the business on a small scale, but they did get a good response from all.

Bangladeshi film 'Rehana Maryam Noor' has been acclaimed in the 74th Cannes Film Festival which is one of the world's most prestigious festivals. This is the first Bangladeshi film in the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. After the exhibition of the film, various reports have been published in the international media about Azmeri Haque Badhon, who played the title role in the movie 'Rehana Maryam Noor.' 

The film is based on Rehana Maryam Noor, an assistant professor at a private medical college in Dhaka. In this film, the story shows that Rehana is accustomed to living a difficult life as a mother, daughter, sister, and teacher. She witnessed an unexpected incident while leaving college one evening. Since then, she has spoken out on behalf of her medical college student against another fellow teacher in protest of the incident. And when she went to protest, he gradually became stubborn. Later, at the same time, Rehana's 6-year-old daughter was treated rudely by her school. In such a situation, Rehana continued to seek justice for her child and that student from the so-called rules of those institutions, perhaps the society.

Before the screening, Bandhan walked the red carpet at the premiere of 'Rehana Maryam Noor' in front of the Dubusi Theater in the Pale de Festival building on the shores of the Mediterranean in southern France.

Bandhan appeared at the premiere of the film wearing an elegant Jamdani sari. This light olive-colored sari had a perfect design, and she wore silver jewelry with the sari. The necklace with the blouse is already stuck. The hair was braided tightly. Badhon tried to represent our culture through her dress-up, and she perfectly mesmerized everyone.
